A lunar eclipse or Blood Moonn in November 2022. The November Full Moon is called a Beaver Moon. The Blood Moon is called during a lunar eclipse because of the red color of the moon. I enjoy seeing celestial events like a lunar esclipse so i took out my camera and get a closer look. I always like to se the stars around the moon

Horsetooth Rock by Moonlight

A full moon setting behind Horsetooth Rock in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Horsetooth Rock is a landmark site in Fort Collins, Colorado. I was intersted in getting the setting moon directly behind the rock formation but i like it off center a little bit more on this one.

Neowise Comet Over Horsetooth

I kept hearing how the Neowise comet was visible with the naked eye and you just had to go out and see it. maybe i have bad eyes but needed some help to get the correct spot. Once found, a long exposure helped bring it out for the camera. It was about 30-45 min after sunset but the long exposure still captured the colors at the horizon.
