Mountain Aspen

Mountain Aspen. This is taken at Morraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. The leaves were changing over and the sun was just starting to hit the top of the mountian. It was taking in early October.

Sunrise at Bear Lake

Went to RMNP to get a sunrise photo at Bear Lake. It iwas a cold, windy morning at 11K feet but the sky turned a beatiful red .

Boulder Brook Rapids

In RMNP this brook runs around some large rocks. It is a pretty mountain stream. After a large rainstorm in 2014, this was swept away

A little Big Thompson River

The Big Thompson River starts in Rocky Mountain National Park and flows into the Missouri via the South Platte River.. Tn Moraine Park, the Big Thompson River is just a small stream. You will see many animals using the river for drinking. The Continential Divide is in the background.

Moraine Park Run Off

Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park is a popular spot to see many wildlife. It also is surrounded by the beautful mountains of RMNP. This time of year the meadows are starting to green up The Big Thompson River is starting to run a little faster.

Changing Aspen

The fall in Colorado means the aspen trees in the mountains change to a wonderful yellow. The hills become alive with the colorful yellow trees. Today, i was in Rocky Mountain National Park and found this nice set of aspens showing off their color on a beautiful blue sky day.

The Colorado Fall Sky

The Yellow of the fall aspen tree with the blue sky in the background makes for a beautiful affect. The Colorado falls are mostly known for the yellow aspen trees in the mountains. Today, i was in Rocky Mountain National Park and found this nice set of aspens. i made my way to look up to see the beauty.

Falling Brook

This is one of my favorite spots in RMNP just off the road up to Bear Lake. This is called Boulder Brook and this was taken last weekend of September when the Aspen colors are at the peak. Although the sun hadn't come up over the trees yet, i used a polarizer filter to help slow down the shutter speed and make the water blur. it is a beautiful spot for a fall photo.

RMNP Fall Aspen

During the Fall, the Colorado Mountains are showing off a golden yellow from the aspen trees. however, the white bark and the ground cover also enhance the overall look of the fall colors int he mountains

Little Horseshoe Park

Little Horseshoe Park is a small area overlooking Horseshoe Park near the entrance of RMNP. I tried to capture the wonderful sunrise looking east toward Estes Park along with the green of the park in early June
