3 Buttes and Shadows
The buttes are part of the Monument Valley in Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. The valley is sacred grounds that lies within the territory of the Navajo Nation Reservation. These buttes are shown in many photos of the "monument valley". The West Mitten Butte (or left-handed mitten butte) is on the left. The center butte is czlled the East Mitten Butte (or the right handed mitten butte. The final Butte on the right is called The Merrick Butte.

Grand Canyon at Yavapai Point
A panorama of the Grand Canyon taken at Yavapai Point. The photo was taken minutes before the sun rose. The Colorado River is barely visible in the lowest part of the canyon near the middle of the photo. The colors of the buttes came out nicely before the sun rose and it provided more dimentional view.

Rabbit Ears and Aspen Trees
I always enjoy going to Steamboat Springs and seeing the Rabbit Ears rock formation at Rabbit Ears Pass. This photo (taken near Muddy Pass) has always been on my list to capture with the fall colors. There is large Aspen Tree groves and the Rabbit Ears in the background. This day was the best day for the yellow color of the Aspen Trees in the fall. The aspens were at or near the peak of color.

Sydney Harbor Start of a New Day.
A panorama of the Sydney Harbor including the Bridge, the City Center, and the Opera House. This was taken 30 minutes before sunrise which allowed a nice colors but the lights of the city were still on resulting in a nice colorful shot. It was stitched together with about 15 shots. which does create challenges. Overall it is a beautiful spot in Sydney.

Gog and Magog are 2 of the limestock towers making up what is known as the 12 Apostles. The 12 Apostles are a set of limestone towers in the ocean off the coast ot southern Australia. The stacks are over 150ft high and were formed by erosion from the ocean. The strange thing is there were only 8 towers with one falling in early 2000s.

Clear Blue
This is a panorama of Jenny Lake with the Grand Teton Range. It was another beautiful morning at the park. The sky was clear and blue and the water was still and blue. The only ripples in the water was caused by my foot sipping off the rocks into the lake.
