Dark Hallow Falls in Shenandoah National Park

Shenandoah Sunset

Jenkins Gap Sunrise

Got into #shenandoahnationalpark early and was lucky to be present for wonderful #sunrise with the foothills into the blue ridge mountains. The #sky was a bright, beatiful red with lots of orange and blue.

Early Morning Train leaving Hapers Ferry

Harpers Ferry, WV is a beautiful place. This photo is of the town of Harpers Ferry at #bluehour with the lights of the town and of a train traveling across the railroad bridge over Potomac River. Hiked on the Maryland Heights trail to get to the overlook before sunrise.

An HDR image of the Grand Canyon taken at Yavapai Point. The photo was taken minutes before the sun rose. The Colorado River is barely visible in the lowest part of the canyon near the middle of the photo. The colors of the buttes came out nicely before the sun rose and it provided more dimentional view.

Inside the Double Arch

Inside the double arch. Early morning at Arches National Park was a cloudy day. As I got to this arch the clouds overhead started to clear. I decided to take a set of photos inside the arch. You can see the clouds over the arch on the left and the clearing on top of the photo. Delicate Arch Bursting Out

Delicate Arch. The Delicate Arch is the most jaw-dropping arch in Arches National Park. It does take a 3m roundtrip hike to get close and in January the last 200 yards can be icy and slippery, but it is worth the hike. This photo was taken after the sunset. The La Sal Mountains are behind the delicate arch. Most every other month there are lots of others watching the sunset but this cool day in January there were very few allowing photos to be taken without anyone around… See more

Delicate Arch Sunburst.

I spent some quality time at Delicate Arch in Arches National Park near #Moab #Utah recently and wanted to capture the sun shining through the arch at Delicate Arch. It was a chilly evening with a little wind and very few clouds. This is a landscape version of the shot which i like because it also shows some of the rocks around the arch. #delicatearch #archesnationalpark #landscapephotography #sunburst
