I hope you'll keep returning to this subject. You've gotten some great shots of the tree. Long may it live.
This late afternoon photograph was taken at Duncan’s Ridge, a popular rock climbing spot, overlooking Horsetooth Reservoir near Fort Collins, Colorado. In photography, the old saying is dead center is dead wrong but I liked how the rocks and tree was jutting out and overlooking the reservoir which you can see below. it was a chilly afternoon just before sunset.
The Poudre River runs through my hometown. This was taken at a spot where the river creates a small pool which allows for reflecting photos. The Fall colors were beautiful again this year.
