Coming Out Of The Fog
Coming Out Of The Fog. This was taken on the high plains of eastern Colorado. They had a nice snow fall that created a heavy fog. I was able to get the photograph of the tree as the sun was breaking out of the fog. you can see the sky above the tree is mostly clear but fog is still hugging the ground. The effect was very nice.
Box Canyon Sunset
Ouray, Colorado is a town that is almost surrounded by mountains. This photo is overlooking Ouray, Colorado at sunset and looking towards the way out of the box canyon. Ouray is in the San Juan mountains of Colorado and is a beautiful town in a beautiful setting. This is a great destination to visit om Colorado.
All LIt Up
All Lit Up. This was taken just east of Fort Collins CO at Timnath Reservoir. In the winter months of Colorado, the sunrises are most spectular and this one was really enjoyable. You can see the reservior was mostly frozen and the ice ridges are on the edge of the lake. I was the only one at the reservoir that morning so i was able to see a beautiful, peaceful, colorful sunrise all by myself.

Peak Aspen Fall Colors
This was taken just outside of the famous Maroon Bell Park. There were a lot of locations there will beautiful Aspen colors. This location had almost all of the aspen leaves n the tree and changed to yellow. It had lot of the white tree trunks visible. I also liked how the trees surrounded the red rock formation in the center of the photo.
Fish Creek Falls
Outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, is a short hike to see Fish Creek spill 280 feet down into Fish Creek Canyon. Called Fish Creek Falls, took the photo on a pedestran bridge that crosses over the creek and starts a longer trail into the back country.
Muddy Pass Aspens
Every Fall, i always look up to see if i can get the yellow Aspen Leaves highlighed in the deep blue Colorado Sky. This is the first taken with full frame camera and i like the broader view.
Rabbit Ears Gold Aspen Trees
I always enjoy going to Steamboat Springs and seeing the Rabbit Ears rock formation at Rabbit Ears Pass. This photo (taken near Muddy Pass) has always been on my list to capture with the fall colors. There is large Aspen Tree groves and the Rabbit Ears in the background. This day was the best day for the yellow color of the Aspen Trees in the fall. The aspens were at or near the peak of color.

Going Hunting
Going hunting. I was at Muddy Pass near #RabbitEarsPass and #steamboatsprings taking photos of a nice outcrop of #aspen trees changing yellow for the #fallcolors. When we first got to this spot there was a slight breeze but a little patience and a return back to this location allowed me to get a wonderful #reflection and to capture a bow hunter heading out to hunt. The colors in #colorado have been fantastic this year
