The fall in Colorado means the aspen trees in the mountains change to a wonderful yellow. The hills become alive with the colorful yellow trees. This was in Rocky Mountain National Park and found this nice set of aspens showing off their color on a beautiful blue sky day.
This shot is looking up from the forest floor to the clear blue Colorado sky. Of course, the yellow leaves and the blue sky provide an appealling look. i also like all the branches from the aspen trees that are visitble. for my eye, it doesn't distract from the yellow on blue background but allows it to wander.
a small but impactful sunrise over Windsor Lake in Windsor, Colorado. The lake is frozen near the shore and the geese are at the edge of the ice about ready to go into the lake for the morning swim.
